LDA Officials removed excess unwanted Athaphums at Thanga and Karang

LDA officials and representatives of fishing communities remove excess and unwanted athaphum inside Loktak Lake near Thanga hillocks & Karang Island. Loktak Development Authority appeals to the dwellers of loktak lake, especially the fishing community, to join the conservation efforts. Under the guidance of  CM  N.Biren Singh and supervision of Chairman Asnikumar Moirangthem , Loktak Development Authority is committed to improving the ecological condition and try to provide alternate livelihoods opportunities to the dwellers of Loktak lake.
