Chaos among Police personals and Tribal Students on account of protest for the release of ATSUM members.

Today, 5 arrested ATSUM members were produced at CJM Imphal West Court and sent to jail for further 15 days. On account of this matter, agitation and protest were held by the members of All Tribal Student's Union Imphal and Joint tribal Student's union today. Police team tried to console the agitation using smoke bombs and tear gas. Student casualities were also reported during today's agitation and further 3 students were also arrested by the police team.

Further, In consonance to the meeting of All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) Executives and Senior leaders, ANSAM and KSO-GHQ regarding the Manipur (Hill Areas) ADC Bill imbroglios, ATSUM is convening consultative meeting of all Tribal CSOs leaders and concern tribal men from all walk of life in the state of Manipur on 8th August 2022 (Monday) at Tahamzam (Senapati) HQ. Therefore, concerned tribal organizations and individuals are hereby informed to take this circular serious and make convenient to attend the meeting without fail.
