272 gram of suspected Heroin powder have been detected by teams of Kakching Police.

As part of War against Drugs 2.0, today at around 6:30 am, 272 gram of suspected Heroin powder have been detected by teams of Kakching Police. The seizure was made based on source information and affected by teams of CDO Kakching near the gate of Pallel Police station by CDO teams. The vehicle was signalled to stop at Pallel PS gate but it tried to escape after which it was pursued and detained at a short distance from the PS gate. The said seizure was made from a four wheeler KWIK car bearing Regd. No. AS-02Q-1649 where the suspected drugs were recovered from the floor of the co-driver seat of the vehicle. 22 ( twenty two) soap cases containing suspected Heroin no. 4 powder weighing 272 gram in total were seized. Accused persons arrested from the vehicle were identified as:- (i) Paominlun (31) S/o Doukhothang of L.Bolkot village, BPO-Koite, Dist-Churachandpur. As per his confession, He is a SoO cadre member of KNLF. (ii) HL. Seikhongam Mate (21) S/o. HL.Heikhokhai Mate of Tengnoupal Bazar, Tengnoupal- Dist. As per his confession, He is a  cadre member of KNO/PAKAN. The arrested persons along with the seized articles are handed over to Kakching Police Station for taking up further necessary legal action.
