World Environment Day-2022,

World Environment Day-2022, was observed today, at the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, by planting tree saplings at its Office premises by Dr. Rajesh Kumar, IAS,Chief Secretary, Manipur, P. Doungel, IPS, Director General of Police, Manipur, Shri Rajesh Agrawal, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, N. Praveen Singh, IAS, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, other Officers and officials of CEO’s Office. Tree plantation has also been carried out at the premises of the newly constructed EVM & VVPAT warehouses in all Electoral Districts of Manipur, under the supervision of the respective District Election Officers. As a commitment towards conserving the environment, CEO’s Office will move towards completely Single usage Plastic Free Zone, power usage through Solar Energy, reduce dependence on paper work and promote eco-friendly work atmosphere, in a time bound manner.
