War on Drugs 2.0, a team of NAB-PS

War on Drugs 2.0, a team of NAB-PS conducted surprise checking of suspected persons at Kwakta and neighbouring areas. In that one woman namely Lhingneikim @ Kimneo Kipgen (30 yrs) W/O Letkholal @ Lalboi Khongsai of Lhanghoi Veng, PO & PS Churchandpur, was arrested from a place near Kwakta Bazar at 3:30 pm with the recovery and seizure of 50 Soap cases containing suspected Heroin Powder weighing about 651 grams, the value at local market being about Rs 13 lakhs. Preliminary verification reveals that the drugs came from Moreh and delivered to another person in Churachandpur. The arrested person collected the drugs from Churachandpur to deliver at Kwakta area. In this regards, a case has been registered at NAB-PS for further investigation.
