Asia Cup Hockey Championship: India and Pakistan play out thrilling 1-1
draw in their first match in Jakarta. India men’s hockey team started their
campaign playing out a 1-1 draw against old rivals Pakistan in the 11th edition
of the Asia Cup hockey championship, at GBK Arena in Jakarta this evening. The
defending champions took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute through Karthi Selvam
who scored on debut. But Abdul Rana's
goal in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter helped Pakistan draw their
Group A match against India.
