Red Shield Division apprehended an active cadre of KRA

SENAPATI:Troops of Jwalamukhi Battalion of Senapati Brigade under Red Shield Division apprehended an active cadre of KRA in an operation carried out on 22 Oct 15. The cadre was apprehended from IT Road Turibari village of Senapati district. The apprehend is identified as SS SgtHaominthangHangsing alias Sparrow age-25 years, s/o LamneahHangsing  resident of villWakotphai, PO Chalwa, PS Kangpokpi, of Senapati district and had joined the insurgent group in 2006. The individual was apprehended alongwith a Sword, cash Rs 200/-, one Micromax Mobile and one BSNL SIM Card. He has been reportedly involved in many extortion and nefarious activities on the IT Road.

In another operation by the Battalion on 25 Oct 15, three active cadre of KRA (U) were apprehended from Khenjang village of Senapati district. The cadres were identified as LalminseiSingsit age 18 years s/o GinlenSingsit, ChonglenglunMisao age 19 years s/o AletMisao and CamyaleinChongloi age 19 years s/o SehchanChongloi, residents of VillKhenjang, PO Motbung, PS Saparmaina of Senapati district. The individuals were  apprehended alongwith two AK-47 Rifles, 10 live ammunition of AK-47, 14 live ammunition of  M-16 and two Magazines of AK-47 Rifle.  The cadresalongwith recoveries were handed over to Police.
