SDPI will Contest 60 Seats in the Lok Sabha Election 2024


NEW DELHI:
 Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has announced that it will contest 60 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The party has released its first list of 27 constituencies. The constituencies announced in the first list are Jangipur, Behrampur, Murshidabad, Malda South, Jadhavpur and Kolkata North and South (West Bengal), Kerana, Merut, Bijnor, Kaisarganj, Amroha and Lucknow (UP), Nandyal, Nellore and Karnul (AP), Devas and Bhopal (MP), Surath, Banaskantha, Ahmedabad West and Kachch (Gujarat), Hazaribagh and Rajmahal (Jharkhand), Mumbai South Central, Aurangabad and Malegaon (Maharashtra).

SDPI National General Secretary Elyas Thumbe, releasing the list, said that the party was making intense preparation at grassroots level for the Lok Sabha election. The party will also contest in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Bihar and the list of constituencies of these states will be announced in the first week of March, said Thumbe.
