Sushma Swaraj is an expert in theatrics, Sonia Gandhi says

NEW DELHI /2015: Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday attacked Sushma Swaraj and said the foreign minister "is an expert in theatrics". 

Sonia's attack comes a day after Sushma clarified in Lok Sabha that she had done no wrong and had not helped Lalit Modi in any way.

Making an emotional speech in the House, Sushma defended her action and said that she had helped Lalit Modi's wife who is a cancer-stricken Indian national. 

Sushma went on to ask what would Sonia Gandhi have done if she were in her place. 

When Sonia was questioned about sushma's defence she responded with the jibe "Sushma is an expert in theatrics".

"I would have done my best to help the lady but not by breaking the law," Sonia Gandhi said. 

Meanwhile, Congress continued with its protest against suspension of MPs by Lok Sabha Speaker.
