Local name: Nomangkha Botanical name: Phlogacanthus thyrsiformis  Nomangkha is used in whooping cough during Covid 19 pandemic,  Fruits and leaves are burnt and prescribed covid 19 treatment for fevers. It is useful for curing coughs, colds and asthma. Flowers are antidote to pox, prevents skin diseases like sore, scabies etc.
