World Meetei Council conducts Seminar and Public dialogue at Sugnu.

A seminar and a public dialogue on the inclusion of Meeteis in the Schedule Tribe's list, was held today at Sugnu's Ching-Tam Community hall.

WMC's chairman, Heigrujam Nabashyam presided as the moderator of the seminar. As a part of today's seminar Social Activists Thounaojam Ashalata, advisor of United Manipuri Association Assam (UMAA) Ngangom Niranjan and Academic Activist Leichombam Gopal individually presented various papers in the seminar for public discussions. Later a deilgate of around 100 members after through deliberations and discussions are said to have had made decisions on various matters, reports said
