3rd Meeyamgi Numit day celebrated at Ukhrul


The Ukhrul District Administration organises it's 3rd edition of District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit under the banner of the State Government's objective to make the governance more citizen centric, proactive and programme implementation effective at DRDA Training Hall, Mini-Secretariat, Ukhrul today.

Agriculture, Veterinery, Medical, Social Welfare, CAF& PD, Handloom & Textiles, PHED and MSPDCL were some of the major line department among 28 departments present. As many as 37 villages/ localities attended the event out of which 81 applications were recieved. 78 numbers of applications were able to resolve on the spot. Some of the few grievances from medical department are Birth & Death certificates and health cards. CMO had also facilitated Covid-19 vaccination and blood & sugar test on the spot. Social Welfare department had given out four old age pension cards and CAF & PD was able to resolve 3 applications. Meanwhile DIC, Ukhrul gave out one handloom card and Revenue Department gave out 15 tribes and income certificates in today's programme.

In today's programme, each applicants were initially recieved and heard by Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul Krishna Kumar, IAS, SP Ningshem Vashum, ADM Chunglenmang Kipgen, MCS and DFO Shanngam, IFS. After consultation applicants were later sent to the concerned departmental heads for resolution.
