MLA K Ranjit enquired about the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah on learning of hindi till 10th standard


During today's Manipur Assembly session, and as a part of the discussion of the 7 demands, MLA K Ranjit raised a question in connection with Education about the decisions made by the Government regarding the statement made by Home MInister Amit Shah which stated that learning of Hindi should be made compulsory till 10th standard. MLA also added that this statement was already opposed by some of the student's organisation. He also asked the number of the teachers selected from Manipur in the recently selected 22,000 Hindi teachers. Lastly, he appealed the leader of the house to fill up the vaccant teacher post in Government schools.
