Asia Cup 2022: Indian hockey team beat Japan 1-0; claim bronze medal

In Asia Cup men’s hockey 2022 at Jakarta, team India produced a gritty performance to beat Japan 1-0 and claimed the bronze medal today. An early goal from Rajkumar Pal and some fine defending works was enough for this young Indian side to overcome Japan in an engrossing game.  India captain Birendra Lakra wins the player of the match award for his sturdy defensive work.
