Hockey junior men's national championship: up, chandigarh, haryana and odisha enter semi-finals

In the Hockey Junior Men's National Championship, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana and Odisha entered the semi-finals at Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu yesterday. In the first Quarter-Final, Uttar Pradesh defeated Karnataka 6-1 while Chandigarh overcame Jharkhand 4 - 2 in the second Quarter Final. In the third Quarter-Final, Haryana overpowered Arunachal 13 - 1 and Odisha beat Punjab in the last Quarter Final 3-1. The semi-final matches will be played tomorrow while the final will be played on Sunday.
